2023 Color of the Year ... Viva Magenta!

Every year Pantone releases a series of colors, including their number one choice, the Pantone Color of the Year.
For 2023 the color is Viva Magenta, a dramatic and vibrant color Pantone describes as:
“… vibrating with vim and vigor … a shade rooted in nature, expressive of a new signal of strength … a pulsating color whose exuberance promotes a joyous and optimistic celebration …”
Viva Magenta was just unveiled, and we are prepping our dye pots and yarn bases, getting ready to release the strength of this majestic color just in time for holiday cheer!
We will be dyeing the first micro batch of Viva Magenta the week of December 12, 2022 and shipping the resulting beauties by Saturday December 17, 2022.
This first batch will be available on a special selection of our Group A Yarn Bases as follows:
What You Get:
Semi-Solid Singles: One single 100g skein of yarn (on the yarn base of your choice) dyed as a semi-solid, inspired by the image you see on this page.
200g Kits: Two different 100g skeins of yarn (on the yarn base of your choice) dyed as semi-solids inspired by the image you see on this page. One will be very, very dark shades and the other will be medium tones) 200 grams of yarn total.
Our hand painted yarns are micro-brewed by individual fine artists. Variations between hanks reflect the beauty of these one-of-a-kind, artist creations. When you order multiple hanks in the same colorway, they are dyed in one batch and great care is taken to match hue, tint/shade, variegation, and sprinkles. Even with that, there may be some variations between hanks ... such is the nature of our fine art fiber products.
Processing Times: This micro batch will be dyed on December 12, 2022 and shipped no later than December 17, 2022.
