This sweet little boa is a Christmas gift I knit for my husband’s newphew’s little girl; she is three years old and loves dress up and make-believe performances. We are giving her some new fangled toy or other, but wanted to give her something beyond a store-bought gift: thus the boa.
The yarn I used is an incredibly soft eyelash yarn that looks very much like feathers. It is Voila by Trendsetter Yarns, made in Italy. I used a bright pretty blue to go with her blue, blue eyes: color number 3288.
This pattern is essentially the same as my No Mo Blues Scarf, but sized down for a little girl and worked in this beautiful Voila yarn. Also, this boa is knitted on much smaller needles, which makes the finished piece coil around and around most beautifully.
