This is a beautiful hand knit hat pattern featuring a clever design trick I call the "switchback".

I put quite a lot of care into designing this pattern, hoping it would seem almost like pages out of my personal scrapbook, shared with you. It features a full-color cover sheet with a photo of the knitted item, a photo of our beautiful barn, and a timely quote from the "I Live on a Farm" blog.
